If you think the problem is water in the electrics you could try this that I used on a honds 400/4. Take the coil off the bike and wash it inthe hottest soapy water your hands can bear. Now stick the coil and lead in the oven at about 150c for about 30 mins to get it thoroughly dry , now before it cools spray it with aerosol underseal, then let it cool then stickit back on the bike. I have done this a few times and have never had a problem with water ingress burind the winter. Be warned thought for the first week or 2 the bike will stink when it gets hot but it does go off. When you put the coil back on spray underseal around the plug and cap to completely waterproof it
