Forget the scientific degree measurement.
The problem and the answer is obvious by reference to gwillys pics.
His old copy pic 16 shows the k/s in the correct rest position.
Chris' pic shows a badly made piece that needs to be ground/ filed back to allow the assembly to be as Gwilly pic 16
