It is a shame it took them so long to come up with the lithium iron batteries but I guess in conflicts these days every soldier would just have a mobile phone lol

When I look at the electrics on my Flash and look at the cats cradle of wire stuffed inside the Bullet headlamp shell and wonder, do we need all that crap in there? After all the only real difference between the Flash & the Bullet is a set of flashers & an extra wire or so for the coil ignition

Bryan they all add up and they all have bulky connectors couple of wires for kill switch,couple for front brake, headlight flash,blinkers ignition switch, they all seem to have a purpose. I have re wired a number of Bullets and Enfield twins using only a 3 core electrical wire up from the battery with the ignition switch in the toolbox.No blinkers of course, front brake switch or kill switch. Do this and it will take a min of 7 wires

You're right of course Norm. It ain't broke so I'll not be mending it but, to see a headlamp/casquette so stuffed with wires & connectors that there is scarcely room for the light unit just does not seem right

Nice job. I have made my own wiring diagrams with coloured pens but this is very professional, thank you. I admire your dedication carrying the old radio/battery sets, that is really reliving the experience!

It cleared up ok guys, was just a bit messy at the time!



But it did have one effect I suppose... Both my bullets got Lithion-ion batteries, which work anyway up and have no acid in them.



Thing is, was my thinking to save my bike from acid spilling on it in the event of falling over, or possibly, was it a dormant memory that battery acid hurts!



Either way, both my self and the Bullets are ok!
