Best thing for you and your Electra, smother said bike in ACF50 or WD40 if money is a bit tight and use the bike right through the winter, a hose down after each ride to remove the road salt if the council have done their usual and spread the stuff for a mild frost, use it use it use it, Bertie is ridden all year round and is as good now as it was 5 years ago.

Ethanol, I never use unleaded fuel in my bikes because of the ethanol content (up to 10% now) and worse still the supermarket cr*p without additives. Old bikes and lawnmowers have a sticker on (use unleaded fuel only), that fuel means super unleaded today without ethanol.

Although clueless as to the Ethanol content of gasoline out here,
just read a snippet in my favourite UK vintage car magizine 'The
Automobile' that Ethanol free fuel is available in Britian from
VP racing delivered to your door in 5 or 55 gallons drums apparently
Check out '[email protected]' Maybe it's common knowledge to those
that pamper their love and joy anyway.
