Looking though a box of old odds & ends I think I found a good knob that will do nicely a old car choke Knob the type you Push pull on the dashboard.

HaHa. The tortoise is great! An old choke knob sounds better, though I do like the idea of a litte Ganesh. That's actually the name of my 500, my 350 is called Hanuman. I have a little brass Ganesh that's the perfect size but being brass it kind of defeats the object of insulating from heat.

Matt great minds think alike? The thing is, I have never worried about the heat... especially as I use the decompressor to kill the engine (don't have a kill switch and the ignition is in the toolbox) so that's not an issue as such. But for decorative porpoises, it'd have to be a dolphin, or something else significant. My apologies... we've been out for my wife's birthday and I can't help myself around a bottle - or four - of sake! I'm now going to paint the banisters (hic)!
