Yes Norm, a strange one that. Some of the early EFI models were affected by premature bearing failure, some have been OK.
How much of a job is it to change them?

I doubt it will be any problem, always easy when you have a press. Swingarm was so bad the chain came off and locked up the rear wheel

Norm, how bad were those bearings that the swing arm moved that much? The bike must have been absolutely terrible to ride before the chain came off???
Paul, does the swing arm need to be removed from the frame and the bearings pressed out of the swing arm - is that how it's done?

I bought base model royal enfield bullet b5 i thought it was good value for money so bought full luggage system from Hitchcocks along with the givi screen which gives suberb weather protection. This greatly enhanced the bike but unfortunately i had to sell within six months .(have still got it all if you decide to go for the b5 and are interested)
I also had a headlight upgrade from Hitchcocks which worked really well and would recommend.
