Hi guys----------- ANDERS, agree entirely with your postings...In todays world of commercial accuracy (or being sued if not) then I think the term "Voltage suited" might be more applicable ?? ie this terminology is being broadly directed at a purchaser rather than accurately to an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer.....For those who want to follow-up the AC version,(RMS values) have a look at this }----------- http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/acdc.htm -------------------- but don't get yourselves too involved, at our level you really don't need to know any of this at all....PS I have the address of a good "shrink", just in case LoL !!!

Hi Alan, thanks for the ammeter. It works on the +ve & -ve scales all OK....My goodness it was hard the put in, wonder how the indians do it? Might pop in for a cup of coffee in the warm weather.. Regards Fred

Hi matey !!-----------glad to have been of some help----- When replacing I smear some washing detergent around all surfaces---the meter will slide in quite easily and, after a period of time , will have dried out to leave the rubber, meter and casquette--as one again !!
