Illegal to sell battery acid on its own? That's a new one. I'd better pop up to the motor factors where I've been buying it in 250ml bottles for the past few years. Anyway, I've got a gel battery in my Lightning. It's been in there for the past year and I've not touched it since it was fitted.

I just ordered a Mottorbat MB3V for the cafe racer to fit up inside the seat.Advantage is it can lay flat and is only 56mm deep on the flat. Will see how that goes, let you know in a couple of years
