Brothers in law ehh
Yep T150, few upgrades and going cafe racer route
Do you still have remains of burnt bike
Richard
No,
That was over 30yrs ago....I'm old!
Sold everything else (and a bottle of Glenfiddich), luckily only the motor and some VW parts  were lost.
I really lust for a T160.
In my opinion, one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made!

You can mount the engine higher up in the standard length frame if you trim the bottom front engine mount.
Presumably you have to drop the engine down to get the inlet rocker cover off? Or file a couple of flats on the studs so you can get a spanner under the cover and remove them?

I can remove the rocker covers from mine as it is, If I undo the head steady and front engine mount the engine will drop enough to allow the head to be removed,

How are you holding the gearbox in frame ?

I copied the Bullet mountings by welding on a tube each side at the rear of the frame.
I copied the Bullet gearbox mountings, but they are slightly longer.
Hopefully a picture will clarify.

I did a similar thing but made up a fabricated bracket and tied it into the gearbox mounts for extra rigidity.
