Thank you Jesus. I have found someone that has a natural understanding of the iron head. He reads my sindel shop manual, and he is a teacher. He is approaching my bike as the previous owners should have. It won't be long before he own a Royal enfield. I forgot to mention he is also a machinist .

It 's not an iron head if it's a Bullet- the cylinder head is cast aluminium (aluminum) alloy, the cylinder barrel is usually cast iron.

Some of the older Royal Enfield designs made in the UK did have cast iron heads, but the Bullet is not one of them, whether built in the UK or India.
