I installed the improved carburettor slide from our host plus a larger idle jet. The Bullet now runs much, much better especially at colder temperatures.
I live on a moderate height (450m) in central Norway where the air is always quite cool in the morning. Even in summer, the morning temperature is often less than 12 degrees. When driving at 75kmh the air reaching the cooling fins is much colder.
Before I nearly always had to have the choke on for 10 km in the morning. Now 1 km is enough, and the Bullet mostly starts from the first kick.

Check the spark plug colour for the truth.My 350 after rejetting and maintenance was kicking first/second time and running as sweet as a nut.Spark plug colour''' white.Ongoing adjustment.

Hi why are these slides better than the originals?

You can see the difference in the catalog. They give a somewhat richer mixture than the standard slide.

@Jamesy: I checked the spark plug. It has the right colour. Before it was always white.
