I simply cannot get my CI bullet to idle nice and slowly. I think it may be on account of the electronic ignition I fitted a couple of years back. My theory, (and I am no expert) is that not enough current is produced at low revs to power the spark-thingumy-box. If the tick over is set as I would like it the engine will only run for a few seconds before stalling. Most annoying.

It's not some kind of interference from the traffic lights. The bike senses that you are becoming tense as the lights are about to change and decides to be awkward.

You need to be more nonchalant in your approach, so the bike doesn't realise that you're about to make demands on it.

Well, that's my theory......
