Any thoughts on this one? We know the engine and frame left the factory together as a continental GT, but did it leave the factory looking pretty much as it does now, or has someone done a pretty professional job of making a Continental GT taller, with a more upright riding position? Nice little bike. I think it's someone's idea of a suitable roadster for personal use. The Casquette is the pre-1959 type (assuming it's the Bullet or Twin type,) but all the other bits look like they are later then 65-66. If it was a Factory bike I'd expect the other parts to be more or less contemporary with the GT build spec. The timing cover is easy to change and the rev-counter drive is very vulnerable and not a lot of use on the road so a sensible thing to ditch. I like it as it is but it's probably worth a lot more as a GT and as you say Paul, it wouldn't be difficult to do. How much if you don't mind me asking?
