Wanted to know how well the megaphone silencer has worked for people. My mechanic said that the stock ecu will be fine but on hitchcocks it says I need the power commander. Overall thoughts on sound, performance, mileage? Looking to put on a 2016 bullet 500 b5. Thanks.

Right I have found how to open the links now using this older computer. I left click and highlight the link turns orange. Then I right click the highlighted link and select open link from the drop down box and it opens.

Brilliant. As strange as it sounds I discovered all this from rics answer to my question.

Thank you from binary.

Now I can hear the sound of the exhaust it is too noisy for me but the fellow has taken all the baffels out. Interesting to see that it has given him a bit more power just not sure about accelerating past 70 mph
on a standard Royal Enfield unit construction engine with such a free flowing exhaust and no work to richen up the fuel supply on the electronic fuel injection. Time will tell I suppose.

Watching that video is what gave me the feeling to get the exhaust! I suppose the o2 sensor could make the mixture rich because well, It's it job to adjust fuel supply. So I guess you're right, time will tell. If plug seems lean I guess I'll just put the baffles back in for some back pressure.

If Hitchcocks say it needs a Power Commander on a fuel injected engine you can take it that it needs a Power Commander.
