Another newbie! Has anyone had any experience off using the rubber mirror mounts on a C5 chrome? I find the vibration makes the image unclear at any speed, but can't see how a rubber mount can improve things! Any suggestions please?

I bought a pair of these and although they don't clear the vibes completely especially at higher speeds, there is some improvement. The biggest pointer I can offer is that the mirrors have opposite threads and I was working up a real sweat trying to get the second one off until i tried it in the opposite direction
