Hi Folks my Bullet 65 has developed a leak from the plastic fuel filter bowl due to a worn seal unfortunately our hosts dont stock them. Has anyone else had the problem and managed to find an o ring from something else that will fit? the recommended fix is a new tap so I even thought of epoxy as the tap would be scrap anyway.

Hi Vince I was thinking of that but wasn't sure how it would stand up to petrol perhaps a good hunt on the net may find something and perhaps reusing the original seal coated with silicon may work? There is a filter in the bowl so any loose bits shouldn't get to the carbs?

I think I may have answered my own question? I have a couple of places to try locally for a seal of the same size but if I cant find one I will refit the old rubber seal with a thin coat of Hylomar blue on both sides which is fuel resistant. Unless of course any of our engineer friends out there can foresee a problem with that?
