I have a 1962 250cc Crusader Sport and I have tried everywhere to find the correct kick start lever for it. I assume that other people may have had the same problem. Can anyone help me please?

Ah, that I will have to check tomorrow. It is a while since I have been trying to get one and I do remember that everyone who had on had the wrong size but I cannot remember what it was. I even spoke to someone in India. Ok I have just measured it without taking the rigid one I have at the moment off and it seems to be 15mm

Well it certainly won't be 15mm. Could be 5/8"

Hmmmm, of course you are correct. This bike was of course made ten years before we were forced into decimalization so it will be five eighths,

Hi, I think your'll find its the same size as some villiers engines, theres a stall at kempton park at end of grandstand that sells odd gear and kickstart levers. Its easier to remove your kickstart shaft and take it with you for sizing. Vince
