This has been brought up before, it seems to occur when somebody posts an immage with their posting.

It happens with pictures over 640 pixel wide, or with clever HTML formatting that syou don't write quite correctly, or when the Sincordia software wants to have a bit of a giggle.



Can be very annoying on an ipad.

Thanks gents, I installed Firefox which has made a remarkable improvement. Postings now appear on top of the intrusive ribbon, but are still under the special offers, which is at least much less of a problem. Sorry if my jargon isn't up to speed, thanks again.

Some long type explanation with pasted stuff from the web etc. with comparison shots, where the ribbon is curling up and dying and the quick shop button looks close to death...
