I have a year 2007 Bullet with Watsonian sidecar. It's still going fine. No, it isn't massively fast at all. But that's not why I got it. However, it's been a huge amount of fun for me (and others) and I continue to enjoy it. Hope you get this lighting problem sorted quickly and to your liking, then go and ENJOY. atb, Chris

What bike ever was designed as a sidecar tug, .............................. I attached an ancient Velorex side-car to a Honda CX-Custom(ish. It attached easily, and I have done thousand of miles on it towing a trailer as well and it will maintain 60MPH on motorways no problem at all apart from people laughing at it and me.

Scaly, I`m sure that the nice gentleman in the Chennai spare parts department, Mahatma Cote, will post one to you for a small fee. Don`t leave home without one.

When I acquired my Electra X (solo) I had an opposite problem, it had a ‘headlamp peak’ fitted which caused the lamp to tilt back in its mounting and illuminate trees and car interior mirrors rather than the road ahead. I have since removed the peak and reasonable illumination of the road has been resumed. Perhaps the fitting of a shim of similar proportions to the rim of the peak in the lower section of the headlamp mounting would give you the adjustment you require. Adam

I was helping a friend get his lump back in the frame recently and Norm's right, we needed jacks and ratchet straps to align the frame so we could get the bolts back in. I wouldn't have liked to try it singlehanded.

If looking for LED bulbs try my mate Pete at http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/ He has his bulbs made to his own specification, very high quality and no polarity problems, 6 and 12 volt. He even has a dipping LED headlight bulb! Disclaimer: he is my pal but I have no qualms about recommending him.

I have not read all the posts but about the original post, you can wedge something between the front bottom of the headlight and the chrome rim to tip the light down a bit, my light had the same problem as yours so I used sticky back Velcro and built up a couple of layers, it helped..
