Pomps the problem is they stopped making parts for these a minimum of 45 years ago,and that was for the Series 11. You can stumble on some parts for them by trolling trolling craigslist in the States.Bits turn up there occasionally. Apart from that as you say MrH is about the only supply and this was boosted last year after they picked up a big cache from the States from a deceased dealer estate. Lucky for us this stuff wasn't scrapped

What is it you're looking for Pomps? Be specific, there are a lot of parts in a Twin that aren't common to Bullets and it helps to know what you want. There might be someone out there (ahem,) who has the bits you need! On a general point, Ebay rarely shows up any Twin parts and the Autojumbles usually have more Crusader parts than anything else Redditch, but even 250 stuff is fairly scarce. REgards, Mark

Hi pomps. Engines and gboxes do come up occasionally. I have seen a few and a mate just sold a 1960 700cc twin engine and gearbox. It was a little rough but would have cleaned up and run nicely. Ed

will do Barnes.i'll probably sell my low mileage Bullet engine and 'box to fund the project, and hope i can get a twin motor..or end up with a low mileage rolling chassis with nothing to do!

Ed just beat me to it! Keep looking at Ebay, completeish motors come up about every 6 weeks or so. In 25 years I have never seen a complete RE Twin engine at a jumble but crank cases and other parts (primary cases, clutches, heads etc) are fairly plentiful. Prices for complete engines have been on the rise for a while, our Hosts have a couple of bottom ends that aren't priced too high and as I say the other bits are around. I sold a 700 Meteor engine to a pal a while back who put it in an 80s Indian Bullet and it turned out really nice, rode well too so it's worth doing! Good luck,
REgards, Mark
