Just wondering if anyone has found a way of using the empty "tea caddy" as an air filter in order to free up the off-side tool box. I don't like the look of the conical or pancake filters available from our hosts, and I'm not after more performance.
Cheers all, Wilf.

Can be done, depends on your ability to be able to modify it,I have done one but takes a fair bit of messing around not easy, easier way is to buy an early airbox and just fit it

Had a peek at Norwich bullets YouTube suggestion. Looks simple enough. Any idea if the carb would need re-jetting if I use Mr. Hs' tea caddy filter.

I put the Hitchcocks tea caddy filter on my 500cc, yr 2000 Bullet and didn't rejet anything. Then on my 2007 500cc with sidecar bike, didn't rejet. All working just fine ever since. It is good to have the tool boxes back as tool boxes. atb -C

The old style Caddy filter is about the same restriction as the original so you shouldn't need to rejet.
