I say chaps, could some kind person post a picture of our host's aftermarket rear wheel adjusters for the EFI please? I'm just wondering (given the difficulty in fitting them) if I ordered the wrong ones. at £27 a pair I can't afford to by another set just to find out. [/b][/b][/b] Ta

Just had a look in the ACCESSORY SHOP (top left of Hitchcocks list)........ Then go to FRAME/CHASSIS.... and then to TYRES AND WHEELS. Found something there, with picture. Seems to fit a lot of models. Hope that helps. Sorry I can't put a picture on here myself. But maybe give that a try? Good luck, Chris

It is strange, most locknuts that I have encountered over many years, require a slimmer spanner than normal to hold the lower nut, causing great anquish as I had to grind down the face of the spanner to make it fit. Why is it so? One shouldn`t have to buy a special thin spanner which is usually hard to find in most stores anyway.

Hi Mud. The nuts are usually the same thickness and a lot of the machinery I worked on (or ) on which I worked, used an acorn nut for aesthetic purposes. I understand your concern for my sanity but it hasn`t been through as much strain as Norm`s and he seems to be managing.

Leon, my life is moving forward now, I pulled down my last Bullet motor on Wednesday, it had broken a rod at 25,000ks, cases didn't look too bad from the outside, but the oil tank section inside was all smashed, cases went in the scrap bin and I told the owner to go and fit a diesel in it, so now I can look to a brighter future lol

Gentlemen (and others) :-) Thanks for the raplies and thanks for the picture Lean. They seem to be the same as I have but they never seem to sit correctly at the back of the swinging arm. The catalogue gives a different part number for the EFI adjusters but no pictures.

That should (of course) read "Thanks for the replies" and my apologies Leon for spelling your name wrong. we need an edit facility on these posts.
