Actually, it looks quite smart, the psuedo khaki is a
pleasnt green, and NO hideous crashbar that disfigure
the tornado army models. Well and good, but whats our
Canadian flag doing on the side covers? The forces out
here use, or did use, Armstrongs

THanxs, Alan,I certainly didn't know of these insignias
beforehand. There are two Sherman tanks parked outside
the downtown barracks here. I will look for these emblems
on my way back from the Victory Square Rememberance service
in a hour or two.

I like my hideous crash bar, especially in the event we ever crash!

To sum up, I think that EFI bottle green looks very good indeed, but still not sure about the ammo box.

Now I wondering what Tornado would look like without the crash bar??? Photoshop's on a postcard ( or post ) please!

Gordon,

Are you sure it's car-key green and not bike-key green?

Damn, it does look pretty. Tornado might be having a colour change soon.

add to that the red number 40 on a white and blue background for the tank, a neat 'C' plus 6 digit number too, and we're good to go!

Scaly. Maybe the previous owner deliverd pizza with that
aberration ammo box until the cordite bothered his clientle.
I'm sure only a couple of wing nuts is suffice to take
it off. Else how does one mount the machine unless you
have the dexterity of a eunuch ballet dancer. Meanwhile,
Norm, talking of distant riding, perhaps you know a local
Emu Engineering and a remarkable Doug Fraser who entirely
fabricated a vintage era BSA Empire style Vee twin, then a
larger Vee twin with B33 barrels, all revealed in current Nov.
'Motorcycle Classics' US.mag. Anyway, he carves does the
2000Km stint Melbourne to Gold Coast to bike rallies on
said machines wiyh impunity

Hi Scaly: Your posts are interesting; however, I find it difficult to read them in the colour (sepia?) you use, maybe it`s my computer, but the text is very pale compared to the Black on White normally used.

It's dark green and hitchcock use a grey background. It might be your screen?
