Hi everyone
i am new to the site and the reason i have joined is that i recently bought a Royal Enfield model G and everybody in the states has told me that this is the site to join , so here i am.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the 1949 model G had on the tank , i have been told that it had decals or transfers , but i figured this is the place to ask , I am sure i will have many questions to follow , and i look forward to being on this forum .Thank you very much in advance.

First, welcome on board. Your advisors were correct, this probably is the best place to seek information on all things Enfield, it certainly have found no better.
So to your query about the 1949 model G. Look to the list on the left and click on "parts books on line", scroll down to 350 rigid frame, click on 1949 model G and it's all there. The really good news is our hosts have the transfere you are looking for in stock, red and black at a not unreasonable cost of £2.50 per side plus post & package.
Keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on with the little Enfield.

Welcome. You're in the right spot. As I said to another recent 'newbie', we're all as mad as hatters but we don't bite. Nothing but help and good advice to be had here.
