Each version has its own merits, personally I'm quite happy with the standard pipe but my opinion on the steam engine version is that the copper doesn't look quite right. Maybe brazing the joints (for strength), and wiping solder over the copper would give it a colour that would blend in better. However, I can't help thinking that either way is providing a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Even if the oil supply should fail without warning, would anyone be looking at the windows while riding? I doubt it.

Exactly Midge, the Speed Dog Racing 612 stripped the pump spindle last weekend at high speed for some reason resulting in a back wheel lockup whilst going around the outside of a couple of other riders. Guy was very lucky to keep it upright and I doubt he would have had enough time to check a sight glass on the rocker feed. LOL

Hi Leon, I have seen that photo before but I have not been able to work out what it is supposed to be doing, it looks like they are putting feed pump oil into the rockers and in doing so starving the bottom end of the small amount of oil the pumps deliver in the first place. Seems dumb to me unless there is another explanation

Hi Midge,*You have all right, but it is enough to control before the trip once.
Then it is well-known that the oil flows…*that is enough already.**I took oil spindle and Worm from Hitchcocks.*The quality is very good!*After 16.000 km still no wear.>>>>> I try to send a picture, I hope it go.*I made the picture 2 weeks ago, after 16.000 km:>> Image>> Image>> Here the difference between India and preparation of England. Hi Gerd: You have to upload the picture to Photobucket, then click on the picture, a blue border should appear around it, then go to the bottom of the screen and click on Images in the right-hand corner, a menu will appear on the right, click on HTML, that should momentarily turn amber with COPIED showing.
Then come back here and click Paste. The picture should appear on here.
