Glad someone has sorted the photo out,ta. Not a great bit of engineering. If it were mine I would be thinking just about enough room to fit a lump of angle iron and obtain a bit more lateral stability.

ps like others state, whatever is put there it will need to line up at both ends, by shimms or design of bracket.

pps. ooh, I notice i wrote a extra thick shim 'cos it had two 'm' s; the standard shim only has one!
