Hi guys-------------Has anyone had any experiences using a plain bronze floating bush big end on a 500 Bullet ??

Hi Alan, there has been one I know of floating around on fleabay for a frew years and I remember when it first surfaced Tim Busby wrote a page on it about how it was a bad idea and will not work for long

I agree that the use of a bronze bush for this application is a bad idea. There are very good reasons why white metal coating or babbitt is used. I think it is unfortunate that the design of the G2 Bullet did not include a split conrod / shell bearing as in the later Crusader / Twins etc.
