Was the 50's big head RE fury rebadged and available as an Indian Fury in the US?
Cris, Indian documents suggest that it was, however, the Big Head arrived in 1959, the year that the RE/Indian deal ended and distribution passed to AMC. (Associated Motorcycles, AJS/Matchless Norton, basically.) As far as I know no actual "Indian" Furies have ever been found although some bikes have had a badge transplant! There were also supposed to be some 350s too, but again, none found.
