Hi Les - no problem! Incidentally, I would still have been plain old 'Paul Henshaw' on here, but when the login procceedure began, I thought I'd better grab 'Bullet Whisperer' for myself, before any trolls [remember them?] took it and missused it and got me in all sorts of trouble on my behalf!

--------nice one, Ed. !!! Not seen them before. At last, a decent --FLAT SLIDE carb in useful sizes which is affordable as well. And it's BWITISH, chaps !!! We need to support them in the best way possible----buy some !!!

Hate to disappoint you Alan, but I think Brill are just the importers. They seem to be made by JRC engineering from Southern California.

They look nice and less than half the price of a Monobloc and slightly cheaper than a Concentric! They have a O ring flange type Amal fitting too.

Hello LES H----------- These corrective "re-types" are getting quite regular of late. Have you had a secret pillion ride on GRUNDA 12 ????.......ED LAZDA }---so it's not California, Great Yarmouth, then ??? Pity.

I Will Have a Play with the MonoBloc But as stated it can be a Bu**er to set Just right!.....

And Time Permitting I will try My Old Micarb to see How she go's.....

not wanting to be pedantic ,but ..... the vm 24 mikcarb is flange mounted ooooh er missus not rubber manifold as previously stated in this thread and its held onby 2 nuts no clips ,vm 24 350 bullit vm28 500 bullet with rubber manifold onto dodgy blow off flange!!! my bike backfired and blew off you can only say that with an enfield!!! off to the lakes be seeing you
