Re-built by Steve Smith of Midlands Royal Enfield in 2009 specifically for Classic Racing,
this machine has a build cost of approx £8,500 and is ready for racing
or road use with a ‘daylight’ MOT.

The re-build spec includes the following:
ENGINE: Gas Flowed and Ported Cylinder Head, Competition valves/springs, Lightweight rocker units, British con-rod, ‘Alpha’ Roller big-end bearing, German main bearings, up-rated oil pumps,
Amal 932/300 carburettor with trumpet inlet, Appx. 10:1 compression,
Electronic ignition, Powerbox, solid state battery, high performance coil, Megaphone silencer.
CHASSIS; Alloy race tank, Race seat unit, Alloy wheels, Alloy top-yoke, Avon road Rider tyres,
Raised gearing, Competition brake linings, Clip-on handlebars, Alloy front mudguard and stays.
Side stand. rear-set footrests, Race number plates.
Please note that British Historic Racing required the 4 speed Albion gearbox and
Drum front brake for this class of event which are fitted but overhauled and improved.
All Drain and filling plugs are wire-locked as required and there is an oil overflow catch-tank.

The machine has been on track at Anglesey, Cadwell Park and Mallory Park.
It has also been used on the Road.
