1940 Royal enfield for sale

1940 Royal Enfield WDC with wdco engine and lots and lots of parts
The bike was registered in 2003 but not finished.
I bought the bike in 2009, as a nearly completed WDC. I completed it and then rode it very, very little.
I swapped in a 350OHV WDCO engine in 2011 and it required an OHV tank for additional clearance.
It ran much better (read quicker) but alas, I have continued to use it very little - In my defence, I do ride alot but have other bikes.
frame number is C11307 (1940) and the WDCO engine number is 10471
The bike is both rideable and a good runner, we started it on Sunday ( I have a short video if you are interested) and it sounds fine and the oil is returning. Unfortunately the battery has had it, although the dynamo is putting out charge.
The plate is non-transferrable.
The pannier frames are indian (no bags or y straps)
The front mudguard and rear mudguard are hand painted and the tank has had the same treatement to some areas.
It does have a speedo, it is an 80mph one but not military.
I have lots of receipts, inc one for the mag rebuild a few years back,
I kept everything to change it back to it's original WDC configuration.
With regards to these parts and additional spares, please see the attached pictures. I have:
- The complete WDC engine that came out, in one lump, including downpipe and carb. Engine number is 8391
- Spare sidevalve head
- OHV spare head and rocker cover.
- WDCO gearbox (condtion unknown)
- WDC fuel tank - the polythene bubble wrap has ruined the paint however - but the ethanol hadn't done it any favours.
- 2 sets of crankcases - one OHV and one sidevalve. Engine nos 18598 and 1489 (first digit here is suspect)
- crank (same for both bikes - big end feels good)
- foot rest set.
- Primary case outer (not shown in pics - it's behind the box - duh !)
- rear mudguard stays
-multiple pistons, sprockets, oil pumps, caps, tappet covers, etc etc etc
£4750 or take an offer - or px for something interesting with some cash.
