Time has come to sell my beloved Electra XS. That's the posh Watsonian one with twin clocks and chrome headlight. If you're interested in this sort of thing, the last two digits on the number plate are XS... New in 2007, had it from new, serviced regularly by yours truly, just under 10,000km (bizarre speedo records MPH speed but Km distance...!

Usual mods++; Amal & conical filter, free-flow exhaust, modified breather with an external drain (stops the mayonnaise going back into the tank!), Hitchcocks extra storage box where the air filter used to be, small screen, heated grips, optimate lead, inspection plug in primary case to strobe timing, Watsonian stronger rear brake lever, re-routed (straight) rear brake rod. It also has a chrome rack but I'm keeping the top-box.

I've recently put on a new rear tyre, new battery and it has 11 months MOT.

In case you're worried, the sprag clutch is original and OK. I always start her and stop her on the decompressor.

Only selling to create space in The Shed for the next one... will be genuinely sorry to see her go...

It was a toss-up as to whether the Electra-XS or the Electra-T was the best looking Watsonian-Squire variant (sorry XR and Clubman fans!). The front end is pure RE Thunderbird, apart from a decent set of handlebars, which might account for the Km odomoter, though some classic Bullets had this feature too. Needs a good home, this one.
