Royal Enfield Clipper 250cc 1954.I brought this bike 3 years ago as a project to rebuild with my Grandson. The bike had been my friends garage since 1981 (last tax disc 81)We replaced Valves ,valve guides,Ing swithch and enough wire to rewire it, also brought new battery holder and tool box.Relined the clutch plates and it ran nicely.For the last 2 years my Grandson has lost interest and I have stopped ridding on the road. So it needs a new owner It would need wiring up, a battery, and new tyres to be road worthy.It can be heard running . Cant be many of these about now looking for £1400. I'm on the Cams/Beds bourder I have a trailer and might be able to help with delivery

After 3 years my friend can not find the log book But I have a tax disc and the Reg is shown clearly. Hence I have reduced the price to £1250

You friend could apply for a replacement registration document, if he is the registered owner?.

You will need to apply for a new logbook, the rules have changed and tax discs are no longer acceptable evidence for the DVLA.
