Just in case anyone is in any doubt, the last Bullet came through the No 1 factory gate and onto Hewell Rd in 1962 not 1965. If it looks like an Indian made 1990's Bullet, and it sounds like an Indian made 1990's Bullet then its probably . . . oh, I'm bored of this you finish the sentence.

Wonder how much they want for the 250 in the window?
That looks more like a genuine 65..

It's not listed under seller's other items, but you might find out if you call the number he gives in the listing:
07908 305436 or 01460 249054

Mine's 160C. Must have been in the same crate! However mine has an (Indian) pre 1962 frame with the short top gearbox bolt, and the engine has the pressure relief valve on the line to the head and the bolt on crankcase breather.
Frame number and engine numbers line up with a '62 bike too.
Similar levels of originality to this one though, but then again I went to my purchase with my eyes wide open....
I wanted a ride to work bike, so didn't want an "original" one but one with the better front brake, 12V electrics, decent carb and electronic ignition. So I bought a "restored" one. Still happy with it nearly 10 years on.
The number won't be transferable as far as I am aware, it's age related.

That is a 1990s Bullet with some later bits & worth about a grand. The dealer, knowlingly or not, is passing off a fake.
