Interceptor Mk1 1965 for sale

Hello, I am selling this lovely Royal Enfield Interceptor Series 1 from 1965. It is a US export Interceptor.
The bike was a very complete "barn find" when imported from the US in 2001. It was completely restored during 2002 at an expense far exceeding the asking price. It has only covered 16000 km since and has been used regularly albeit sparingly over the years.
The bike still presents very lovely indeed and is a great ride. The engine has fantastic pull and a sound to match it. If you have experienced one of these Interceptors first hand, you will know what I am talking about. Truly a great driving experience with the 736cc twin engine fitted in this rare Royal Enfield model. The engine is oiltight and very sound, with oil change every year since restoration.
The bike was upgraded with new clutch and beltdrive (spare belt comes with the bike) together with new carbs 2 years ago.
Original tank, toolbox etc, no replica parts.
Images of the bike before restoration together with copy of original US registration documents, workshop manual and spares parts list (both unique to the Interceptor) come with the bike.
