I’m going to be putting my 2005 (55) Enfield Bullet 500 Classic up for sale, the bike is in very good condition having covered 16000 km 9950 miles. It has a front disc brake conversion, which works really well; it has a screen fitted, which is of course removable if it doesn’t suit. The tyres are almost new. There is no sign of rust or corrosion on the bike itself, although the rear wheel rim has suffered some areas of surface rust which has affected the chrome. A rear carrier is fitted which has the base plate for Givi type top box (no top box with it though). It is one of the last Classics and has the 4 speed gearbox with right foot gear lever, points ignition, carburettor and kick start only (nice and simple).
It is a really nice well looked after bike. I have another Bullet which I use as my daily commuter, I brought this so that my wife and I could venture out together on high days and holidays, but alas she cannot get on with the kick start… or the gears.
What do we reckon its worth folks… I’m thinking £1800 ?
