I would not fancy running into anything on that even a slight front end knock if you got shunted forward on that seat your wedding tackle would take awful whack on that exposed frame & tank.

Well, each to their own but I do think that is particularly bloody awful.

I don't like to comment if somebody has put a lot of work in, but in this case, I don't like it.

All it is missing is the toilet roll holder. Or is that it, disguised as a backrest?

That's been up on ebay for a while, can't think why someone hasn't bought it. Oh, actually...

The results of the current customizing craze seems just as lamentable as some of those of the original chopper scene. There's an outfit in Paris that seems to delight in turning older-style BMW twins into ugly cafe racers, and I have been known to have a good moan about some of the current crop of bobbers, the cult of which seems to be devouring too many Bullets at the moment, but this is something else!

Lest we forget, bad taste hasn't been criminalized as far as I know, it's a free country and you are still allowed to customize nice old bikes well(keeping our hosts in business!) or badly, but I despair when people ruin them and then get bored and (try to) sell them on. This one's only good for spares!

Motorbikes have always been subject to personal customisation, if they were all factory standard it would be pretty boring. Not keen on this one though, it's not very tasteful, but someone somewhere loves it :-) Must admit I like the look of 30s Brooklands/American board track racers and think the 30's was the best era for bike looks. If I was to go rigid and girders I'd do a 30's replica/ fake.
