Hope it's all right to advertise this here (I'm keeping the Enfield!)
My 2003 W650, 15,800 miles. One owner before me, only did 1,300 miles. I bought the bike four years ago and have done a further 14,500 easy miles - I'm 65 and I don't go tear-arsing about.
This is a reluctant sale, I have arthritic neck & shoulders which now suffer too much after half a day on the "big bike" (I hope I can continue to ride my Enfield for the duration...).
The bike is in very good condition, starts on the button and runs as sweet as a nut. There are some bits of surface corrosion on the casings - some time and elbow grease will bring them back to full shining glory. There are some small patches of surface corrosion on parts of the frame, nothing very noticeable.
It has been well maintained according to the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual, and I change the oil & filter every 2,500 miles. The bike comes with the original toolkit under the seat, owners manual, and full workshop manual on CD. Corbin Gunfighter seat included in sale along with the stock seat of course. Also Dynojet Stage 1 jet kit. I never got around to fitting it.
The bike is MOT'd until April 2016. The mechanic who MOTs the bike calls it "the best British bike they never made". Certainly it's beautifully built, and has been totally reliable and trouble-free. A joy to ride. I'm going to miss it.
Very reasonably priced at £2,900
