Hi all,
I am looking at selling my 350cc 2003 classic bullet. It is a good runner with a few extra's from our host.
I will openly say it is not cosmetically in A* condition due to my laziness with cleaning but with a very little love and polish it wouldn't take much.
No accident damage or repairs. NEW PARTS FROM OUR HOST; King and queen soft leather seat, high comp piston, pankcake air filter, new clutch plates, cable and lever, front brake lever, exhaust valve and push rod AND A NEW 1937 500CC RUDGE ULSTER SILENCER, FOR A COMPLETELY UNIQUE AND GREAT BARKING SOUND!. I hope i am being reasonable but looking for £700 OR WILL CONSIDER REASONABLE OFFERS as looking to upgrade. FULL CASH ONLY ON COLLECTION PLEASE (I LIVE IN WORCESTERSHIRE).
CONTACT 07730187963 (AFTER 5PM ON WEEKDAYS, SAT-SUN ANYTIME)
Thanks
Peter

Just to remind you all that Road Tax is no longer transferable and must be surrendered for rebate when the vehicle is sold......ie}--- The buyer will then have to apply for tax immediately OR declare it as SORN....( which also is non -transferable !!).....This is applicable whether you actually pay money for your Tax or the Vehicle is Tax Exempt.....So the old attraction of some Tax left on no longer is an attraction.....As the rebate system can take up to 6 weeks to happen, and then you'll get a cheque to deposit into your Bank account, it might be that the bulk of sales will now start to take place after the current Tax has expired and it's on SORN...???

OR}--- you can send the Tax in for rebate at any time ( but only WHOLE MONTHS) in the usual way....I know that's what I'll be doing...........

My understanding is that the refund of Road Tax will take place automatically - to the LAST registered keeper's address; no need to "send it back", as after 1st. Oct. (end of tax discs) there will be nothing to send back anyway..........
Or have I got it wrong ?......

When I bought mine a few weeks ago I had forewarned my insurance company (Footman James)then rang them as soon as had competed the purchase and paid by card the seller let me borrow his PC to tax it on line I was told by my insurance it may take up to 72 hours before its on the system but came up straight away. You may lose a bit if near the middle of the month but means you can ride the bike back.
