My 1995 Meteor for sale. Very pretty in Grey,option in '55,new paint. Bike runs well and represents three years restoration work and bills from Hitchcocks for £4,000.
The parts were imported from the States. Restoration is almost complete but my 82 year old knees are increasingly reluctant to crank the starter.
The Meteor is registered and running and living in the Isle of Man but the documents are not transferable to the UK.
Hitchcocks rebore, bullet seat, slight rust spots on the front wheel. Just about everything that goes up and down or round and round has been renewed. One toolbox cover not original,nor one knee grip. Magdyno completely rebuilt, on 6V.
Rear wheel is quickly detachable and completely rebuilt with new rim and spokes.
There aren't many of these around these days, have yourself a rare one and complete the job to concours.
£3,500 or thereabouts.

Hi Ray, you allready have answered my e-mail to the "CZ" with the picture. I then asked for a picture from the other side and the prefixes of the numbers that you gave me. I asked at Chas Mortimer about the freight, awaiting the quote. I would prefer a written communication sofar as I don´t understand the english native speakers perfectly. Pavel.
