Actually, forget any saving for a moment, is import the way to go anyway if we're to get something sorted for the summer.

Olly, join the Inter Group I told you about. Most Members are in the US/Canada where virtually all these bikes went and can offer considerable advice, as well as (occasional) first offers on bikes for sale. Just a few days ago a new Member in Manchester posted pics and helpful information about the Import of his 1970 Mk2.
