Royal Enfield 1961 Constellation Airflow A real reluctant decision to sell .I have owned and ridden this bike since 1976 has never let me down ultra reliable went to Holland last year to a classic bike race meeting and it drew much attention , also been to quite a few Royal Enfield rally's over the years .It has a few sensible mods such as Hitchcock's five plate clutch and slight breathing mod's .It has the original Dunlop wheel rims .The bike has always been well maintained with oil changes at the end of each summer . It is in oily rag condition I have often thought about a restoration to the paint work ,but I am often told to leave it as it is as it looks used and original . It is M O T'd until the end of May but may require the swinging arm bushes renewing this year ,the parts for this I have .
This model is quite rare now and it is like Marmite you either love them or hate them so this is aimed at that certain person was is wanting the Airflow model . Enjoy now or restore to its former glory

I seem to recall a profile in Real Classic mag about 18 months ago on the Airflow, provided by Venture Classics to Frank Westworth for the test. Came across very well. As you say you either love it or hate it - priced reasonably but I think they should be worth a bit more. Sunbeam S8s are the same - great individual bikes but not a wide following.

Hi Sofiaspin ,thanks for your comments .I agree the Sumbeams S8 was another underated individial bike along with the Douglas Dragon Fly both that I always liked to have owned
