Hello all, I’m selling my Royal Enfield due to more recent acquisition of a more modern bike for regular commuting. It has done 270 miles only since a complete rebuild, to significantly higher spec., 2,500 miles only before that. It started life as a standard Bullet 500, it now looks like a much older ‘60’s trials bike, thanks to the previous owner’s efforts.
Spec. as follows: Engine size now 535cc, uprated from 500cc with UK internals from Hitchcocks. Amal carb. Electric & kick Start. Boyer electronic ignition. 5 speed gearbox, new Hitchcock clutch. 21” and 18” rear alloy trials wheel with stainless spokes. Hitchcock’s trials exhaust. Sprung seat. Hitchcock’s alloy petrol tank. Re-wired, new switches and Smiths clocks. Original and Sweep Up trials footrests. Leather tool roll. Gel battery. Falcon shocks on the rear and rebuilt front suspension.

All bills and paperwork from rebuild, which totalled around £5,000, plus service history prior to rebuild. MOT to 02/2014 (only done 100 miles since last MOT), currently SORN’d. Originally registered in 2004, but private plate makes it look 1964 registration. Asking price is £3,800. Ring Paul on 07722 091226 (Peterborough).
