Hi guys--------- just a general request to those selling bikes on here.. Why not put up a couple of photos ?? Unlike E-Bay there is NO CHARGE for these and it'll help sell that cherished machine just that bit better!!!

Pictures again.. It would appear that most aren't aware of, or are afraid to venture into, on line albums. I'm lucky in that I have my own server but, for those that don't have this luxury, an alternative is Google's Picasa, Photobucket or a plethora of other on line photo storage sites.


One needs to sign up to one one of these sites and upload photos from the computer to the site. From there, it is relatively easy to post pictures onto the forum.

Yes, That explains the QUESTION. Now tell me the ANSWER please.

I use photobucket. Obviously, open a PB account and upload your photos. With the photo you want displayed, there is a panel on the RHS of the screen giving links to share this photo. Left click on the HTML code and it's copied (no need to do the usual right click/copy) then right click/paste into your post. The photo won't appear when you do this - just the HTML code, but will be visible once the post is posted.Be aware that it will give everyone access to all the photos you have for that account on PB (I think) so best not to have pictures of the girlfriend in the buff on there
Other online photo sites will be different. This procedure seems to size them nicely as well.

You'll see what I mean about privacy if you click on the image I just posted. It takes you to photobucket and you can see all the photos I have there.
The girlfriend photos are in a different account

Just out of interest I'm trying the other link options from Photbucket.
