1959 350 Clipper project for sale. I have a registered copy of the Register of Motor Vehicle Licences from Cheshire records office, that says it was first registered in May 1959 in Chester. 556 LFM is not on the DVLA database. Its in Bristol and owes me £675.00 as it stands. email me at:

Last of the 19" wheel versions. Do the frame and engine nos. match what's on the copy of the Cheshire licence? Interesting to note who signed it!
It will also be interesting to see if the new owner keeps it as a Clipper or is tempted to rebuild it as something livelier, assuming they want to put it back on the road.

Later bikes no longer had matching engine numbers so doesn’t mean it’s not original.

No doubt the new owner will wish to use the REOC dating service which can also confirm if the engine and frame numbers match the factory dispatch records.
