Up for sale is my 2004 June 15 registered Thunderbird 350 AVL with just 1250 miles (2034kms) on the clock.
This bike was imported and stored for 11yrs, then road registered in June, I bought it with 44 miles on it, immediately changed all oils before use, carefully run in and engine oil/filter changed again.
It came as a Thunderbird, but I changed the tank for a 2008 black/chrome one, and Electra bars, took off the sissy rail, and put on fork gators, but all the original tank etc will come with the bike.
The engine is 1st class with so little miles as are the tyres, the 11yrs standing did take some of the plating off some spokes, chrome on the gear change, side stand and 1 rear spring, but other than that for a 2004 bike its in exceptionally good health.
Its up for sale as my health is worse than the bikes!, I'm struggling to start it so gone and bought one with an electric foot!
Comes with all the import papers and history, so plenty of bed time reading.
MOT till 4/16. Now on sorn so mileage wont alter.
All this for £1675.cheap as chips as needed out of the way as courier bring new bike next week.
Thanks for looking

Hi Terry,

so we know a bit about the bike, and how much you're asking for it, but where are you? If potential buyers know it's local (or not too far away) you might get more interest. A photo would be good too, it sounds like an attractive bike from the description.

Its in Livingston, about 5mls up the M8 from Edinburgh.
Photo's wont happen on this site, given up with those a while back, can send some to an email address if required, text address me on 07443651762.
I was surprised how in-expensive it is to get a bike transported around the country, from Tamworth to me any-thing from £120 to £180, and at reasonably short notice, i.e. pick up mine on Tuesday, deliver Wednesday!
I have 2 reliable companies I've used, with websites, but BE AWARE OF THE ANYVAN TYPE LIFTERS, some are not properly equipped or insured to move bikes.

Surfing the RE bikes for sale on ebay, I found this one still on there (one of FIVE Thunderbirds for sale, not as rare as I thought!).

If it helps with the sale Terry, here's your picture of it with the modifications.

It's on its way to being a very nice looking bike.

Thanks Adrian, it now sports a passengers grab rail to combat all that excessive power!
I was offered a very nice CX500 Euro as swap, very tempted but just had an enormous vet bill in that's likely to get bigger, so sadly had to decline!

Tamworth to Edinburgh (return for the driver remember) is a very long days work.. Factor in fuel and other overheads and £120 sounds cheap to me. Guess why I gave up trying to earn a living as a courier? People are just totally unrealistic in their expectations.

NOW SOLD THANK YOU.
My delivery cost £150, could not have got down there by train and fuels back for that!
Anyway, now sold and is going to transmogrify into a cafe racer so I'm told.
