Royal Enfield Bullet 350 2008
GBP 1.100 (or nearest offer)
My career is taking me far away so it is with a heavy heart that I am putting up my beloved Royal Enfield Bullet 350 for sale. This machine has served me brilliantly and has been absolute bliss to ride. She is in very good condition and the perfect machine for anyone who loves classic motorcycles.
I have actually not spent much time at all repairing machine as she has worked extremely well. See below for a list of maintenance things and improvements she has undergone. I've taken very good care of her, only taken her out in good weather. She also spent the vast majority of her life in a garage being taken out on nice days, hence she only has 5500 kilometres on the clock – that's 3400 miles! (This number might go up a bit, but I am extremely busy at the moment so it is unlikely that I'll add much to the clock!). This bike has had one or two common modifications that should bump up her power a little.
Here is a list of things she's had done to her:
Previous owner(s):
After-market improved exhaust (less restrictive and the sound is stunning!)
After-market improved carburettor (Amal Mk1 – makes her start very well when hot or cold)
After-market improved air filter (on the Mk1)
Higher compression piston
Me:
After-market improved stator (for better electricity generation)
Attached luggage rack – this is easy to pop off if you like, but can hold easily hold 20kgs of luggage
New chrome mirrors – not in these photos, but I'll upload some pictures if I can find my camera
Also, I have recently had the timing checked adjusted by professionals, (I didn't have time to do it myself) as it is supposed to be checked sort of yearly.
If you're nice I might throw in some extras like 0.7l of spare oil, bungees, luggage net, a cover (if you do want to keep her outside now and then, a heavy duty lock, some spare essential tools, a spare mirror (the one on the photo is now a spare), a spare sprocket, a spare spark plug (used), a spare oil filter, silicone grease for the contacts, spare paint (in case you scratch it), corrosion protection, polish, chain lube, chain cleaner, service manual etc. The total worth of the extras alone is easily over 150 quid alone. (Note the availability of extras might fluctuate a little depending on if I give anything away to my friends.)
The fine print:
She's taxed and MOT'ed until March. The only recommendation made was that “the indicators flashed too quickly†so I replaced the relay and solved the issue promptly.
There is a minor scratch on the front mudguard and one of the tool boxes, but I've ordered some paint and ill touch up the areas in due time.
I do not have a full service history because along the way one of the previous owners died (he was rather old), and with him some of the records. I've kept all the bills since I got the bike and also kept a little log book of distances travelled and services carried out. Of course I'd be willing to share these details with potential buyers.
So if you're interested, get in touch!
