Saw this, and my first reaction was "what the ---- is it??" From the listing description, it would appear that even the present owner doesn't know what he's created.......A real shame as this bike seems to have survived relatively intact since 1949 with just one owner - until this happened !! From the look of it, it's probably convenient that it's MOT-exempt, too....I nearly choked on my turkey left-overs when I read the "original unrestored condition" bit ! I know it's his bike to do with whatever he likes, but...!
However, should be worth at least £500 of anyone's money........

----------------OK, so the bike shown is actually a 1938 machine that my mate Tim owns (AND rides !!) but I agree with JOHN L, this could be the basis for a rescue "mission", maybe ??..Anyone fancy a go at it ??

I agree, what was he thinking?
On the other hand, he does say that all the original bits that he stripped off are available.

2 and a 1/2 grand for a pile of dirt 'n' rust? Really? Looks like a loosely assembled basket case to me. Someone's gotta be 'avin' a larf!
