Is it OK to advertise my front end that I'm selling on Ebay?
There are 8 watchers so far, and the listing finishes on Sunday evening.
Someone give me the all clear and I will put the link on here.
I'd prefer it to go to someone on here to be honest!

hi peter,you can only advertise bikes for sale on here ...although an innocent mention of an available part at a good price to a fellow user of this site provided that you conduct your business via your own media i.e email or phone number etc surely wouldn,t be a problem only to a jealous person ,i have helped a few people to good second hand parts that maybe are not available from our hosts at the time,i don,t do it as a business ,just if i can help a fellow forum chap i will its as good as the advice on here atb paul.

Hi PETER 53, ---------- to answer your question}--- I think you just have !! I found it by typing in the 3 appropriate key words eg} Enfield ---- -----, and it took me straight there. Well, that was my experience anyway-------- you'll just have to see what the "Top Brass have to say, eh ??(wink-wink, nudge-nudge).

Peter - Oh dear, what a can of worms!!!! You may well fall foul of the HWSP (Hitchcocks Web Site Police) - to be fair the disclaimer does say sell no bits only complete bikes - so you can't - and if you attempt to do so they (Hitchcocks) will delete it. Having said that some folk don't think Hitchcocks are up to moderating they’re own site and will hurl abuse and sarcasm at the very notion of critism or selling bits. All very entertaining. That said I think Hitchcocks are very tolerant (of forum misdemeanours) and service second to none.

Peter, I've just realised how thick I've been. The very fact that you posted asking it it OK to ..... has alerted us to the fact and therfore you did it without asking whilst appearing to be innocent.
