Himalayan Customised Seat

Hi
Was wondering if anybody has considered modifying the seat on the Himalayan. In my view, the current design is not that pleasing on the eye. It would be good to ditch the pillion seat and replace it with a hard cover or rack or change the whole thing for a ¾ seat.
Any thoughts / suggestions most welcome.
